Help Identifying a Crochet Edging

Debbie asked if I had a crochet pattern for something similar to this lovely plate edging. I don't. It appears to be a derivation of filet crochet... If anyone has a pattern for a plate edging (or who wouldn't mind figuring it out and sharing the instructions :), let me know. I've been thinking about posting crochet patterns for quite a while, but haven't managed it. Maybe this could the first!
