Seatbelt Pad
Like winning lottery numbers -- you never know when I'll show up.
I have e-mail piling up that is causing me some anxiety, but I will answer them. Eventually. My responses may come too late to be of any help, but that's why I'm not a doctor -- my neglect puts no one's life in jeopardy. What a relief!
But for now, with one of my brief spurts of energy and focus, I'm posting some photos to amuse and distract you. The first is a spiffy seatbelt cozy that I designed and crocheted myself. (A rectangle with buttons. Wow.) Nevertheless, it does the job for which it was intended: keeping the harsh seatbelt away from my delicate skin. The other I had was made of acrylic fake shearling and I didn't like it. Not the color, the texture, or the bulk. Necessity (
frugality + desire + impatience = necessity) invoked my colonial make-do spirit and this is what I came up with.
I like it.
